How Does Polyurethane Idler Wheels Work?
Idler wheel refers to the load/guide wheel, which does not actively rotate itself, but transmits power through contact with the drive wheel. When the drive wheel is in contact with the Idler wheel, the rotating motion of the drive wheel will be transmitted to the idler wheel through friction, causing it to produce a corresponding rotation or displacement. In this process, the role of the idler wheel is to transfer the power of the drive wheel to the object in contact with it, so as to achieve the transportation, processing or detection of the object.
