Custom Cast Urethane & Polyurethane Rod
Shanghai Pepsen started its business from polyurethane rod in China since 2004. Urethane rods are also called polyurethane rods and PU rods, which can be used in manufacturing various products/parts. Urethane is often used to replace rubber, which break and deform faster than PU, and would need to be replaced frequently.
70D hardness available
60D and 70D hardness rods are available even for small diameter. For small quantity, they can only made by hand casting, so rods could contain some bubbles inside, because the materials solidify quickly. For high volume rods made with many molds, casting machines and automatic mixer can be used to avoid.
Polyether, Polyester Based Urethane and Vulkollan Rods Available
Shanghai Pepsen not only manufactures economical ether, ester based urethane rods, but also high performance Vulkollan rods for toughest applications. Vulkollan is known as excellent dynamic stress and best abrasion resistant polyurethane. Considering the detailed requirements from each request, we support our clients choosing the most suitable formulation.
Applications for Urethane Rods
With the ability to adjust hardness, color, solid or hollow and formulations, the urethane rods were machined into economical bushings and washers, and now are usually used as buffer, shock absorber and high performance PU die spring.
